| Length of time for which the massage chair should be used |
The timer for most programs is set for approximately 15 minutes, and this is the recommended length of time for massage sessions. The maximum recommended time for massage chair usage is 30 minutes per day. If you are using the ‘SPOT’ feature during a manual massage program, the maximum length of time to keep the rollers in the same position massaging any one particular part of your body is 5 minutes. Inada massage chairs are rated for a maximum of 30 minutes use, after which they should be left for the motors to cool down. |
| The difference between the available massage program types |
The different automatic programs have been designed to incorporate all the elements of massage to benefit specific areas of the body as required. Most of the programs will massage most of your body, but will concentrate on specific areas of the body as indicated by the type of program. Thus, Neck and Shoulder programs will work more specifically on your neck and shoulders, but will also incorporate a degree of massage to the rest of your body. The Morning program is a short, invigorating massage to wake you up, maybe when you have less time before work. The Nighttime program is a gentle and soporific program for use just before going to bed. The manual programs can be configured to meet your individual needs should you wish to personalise your massage experience. |
| Inada Infra Red Scanning Technology |
| Only Inada massage chairs incorporate infra-red scanning technology. The Automatic sensors seek out the body’s main shiatsu points before the massage program starts so that each individual receives the most effective massage for his or her own body type and wellness goal. |
| Adjusting the intensity of the massage |
Inada massage chairs come with additional cushion padding which can be inserted or removed from inside the back of the chair. The more padding, the less intense the massage. With the W.1 massage chair, the sensitivity can be further adjusted using the sensitivity control when used with the music synchroniser on the Synchronized Music program. Using this function, the way in which the tapping and kneading of the massage rollers respond to the music can be adjusted up or down. |
| Expected delivery time |
| As we stock a wide range of massage chairs, we usually order chairs to customer’s specific requirements, i.e. model and colour. As such it may take between one to three weeks for you to receive your chair, but we keep you advised of delivery progress at all times. A deposit is taken before the order for your particular chair is placed. |
| Payment for your purchase |
| You can pay for your chair by cash, debit or credit card, bank transfer or cheque. Delivery is confirmed once we have received cleared funds. If you intend paying by cheque, then please make sure that you allow sufficient working days for the funds to clear before your expected delivery. A deposit is taken before the order for your particular chair is placed. |
| Installation and Training |
| Usually your massage chair will be unpacked and undergo a quality inspection before it is delivered to you. This minimizes the time spent unpacking and checking when we arrive. There is minimal assembly required (cushions, remote control unit, synchroniser, etc) so your chair should be quickly installed and working. We will then demonstrate the various features and functions of the chair so that you are comfortable with its basic operation by the time we leave. However, only regular use will familiarise you with all the features of your new massage chair. |
| Warrantee |
Inada massage chairs are covered by a two year warrantee when used for domestic use. When purchased for use in a commercial environment or for corporate use, the chairs carry a twelve month warrantee. The Synchroniser unit is covered for a twelve month warrantee period. In the event of a malfunction, then please contact us and we will endeavour to ascertain the nature of the fault and to swiftly rectify it. Please note that the warrantee does not cover damage to the covering of the chair as, being upholstery, this can be readily damaged by abuse, misuse of cleaning agents or other such similar mis-treatment. In normal operation, no signs of any such wear should be present during the period covered by the warrantee, and probably not even during the life of the chair. The warrantee covers parts, labour and carriage to and from servicing agent during the first twelve months. After this period, the warrantee covers parts, labour and return carriage after repairs are completed. Repairs outside the warrantee period are chargeable at the prevailing rate. |
